Assistant University Librarian for Development & Communication
Towson, Maryland
I am a creative thinker with a passion for problem solving.

As the Assistant University Librarian for Development & Communications at Towson University’s Albert S. Cook Library in Maryland, I teach journalism students about the research process, manage my library’s social media, oversee the library's Data Studio, coordinate fundraising, and manage the Communication, Outreach, and Digital Scholarship Department.

I obtained her Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and has a Master’s in Communication from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania.

I authored two books about fundraising: "Fundraising: How to Raise Money for Your Library Using Social Media" (2017) and "Fundraising for Academic Libraries: A Practical Guide for Librarians" (2020). I also received the 2019 Distinguished Education and Behavioral Sciences Librarian Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries for her excellence in teaching and service to the profession.

My proudest achievement, however, is raising my 9 year old identical twins Hannah and Miriam :)
